New Moon in Libra Oct 10, 2026 — 6-month Action to Harvest
New Moon in Libra — 6-month Action to Harvest
First let’s clarify the difference between the 2-week cycle and 6-month growth.
The 2-week cycle: the sprout.
You plant the seed on October 10. By October 25-26 (Full Moon in Taurus), the sprout breaks through the soil. You see the first sign of life. The first result. The first feedback on whether the seed took root.
But the Full Moon in Taurus illuminates your intention through a Taurus lens. That is self-worth, material security, what’s tangible. It’s not the same lens you planted the seed with. You planted in Libra energy: relationships, harmony, attraction. Taurus checks whether the foundation is solid. That’s a checkpoint, not the harvest.
The 6-month cycle: the bloom.
The Full Moon in Libra on March 22 illuminates your intention through the same Libra lens you planted it with. Relationships, harmony, balance, what attracts you. It comes full circle. The seed and the harvest speak the same language. That’s the completion.
How do the following Full Moon phases in different sign connect?
Every 2 weeks the Moon passes through a Full Moon in a different sign. Each one checks in on your Libra intention from a different angle:
- Full Moon in Taurus (Oct 25) — is the foundation solid?
- Full Moon in Gemini (Nov 24) — have you communicated what you need?
- Full Moon in Cancer (Dec 23) — does it feel emotionally safe?
- Full Moon in Leo (Jan 22) — are you being seen and valued?
- Full Moon in Virgo (Feb 20) — have you done the practical work?
- Full Moon in Libra (March 22) — full circle. The harvest in the same energy you planted.
You don’t WAIT 6 months. You work with every Full Moon along the way. Each one reveals a different layer of whether the intention is growing. But the 6-month Full Moon in the same sign is where it all comes together because it’s the only one that matches the energy of what you originally planted.
Also consider the size of the intention matters too
A small practical intention — “I’m going to have an honest conversation with my partner this week” — that’s a 2-week cycle. Plant it at the New Moon. Harvest it by the Full Moon.
A bigger life intention — “I’m going to fundamentally change how I show up in relationships” — that’s a 6-month cycle. It needs Scorpio’s honesty, Sagittarius’s faith, Capricorn’s discipline, Aquarius’s innovation, and Pisces’s surrender before it can fully bloom. You can’t do all that in two weeks.
The simplest version:
2 weeks = quick results, first feedback, one angle.
6 months = full circle, same energy, complete picture.
Here’s an example:
My INTENTION for the New Moon in Libra
House: 4th house
Planet: conjunct natal Pluto at 17°
Release and transform outdated emotional patterns, inherited comfort zones, and childhood conditioning that have disrupted your relationships, self-worth, and creative identity. Clear the slate for healthier emotional foundations.
THE 2-WEEK JOURNEY — ACTUAL MOON PHASES
(Each phase is 2-3 days. The Moon physically moves through these signs.)
Oct 10 — 🌑 New Moon in Libra 17°21’
My 4th house. Conjunct natal Pluto. The seed lands directly on the deepest point of transformation in my chart. I set my intention. This isn’t a gentle planting — Pluto makes it a declaration of change.
Oct 12-13 — 🌒 Waxing Crescent in Scorpio Happening in my 5th house. The seed immediately moves into creative identity and self-expression. The first emotional stirrings. What I’ve been hiding about my creative self starts surfacing. Uncomfortable but necessary.
Oct 14-16 — 🌒 Crescent continues in Sagittarius My 6th house. The daily routines and habits that have been reinforcing the old patterns become visible. I’ll see where my day-to-day life has been keeping you stuck. A wider perspective arrives.
Oct 17 — 🌓 First Quarter Moon in Capricorn My 7th house. The first real test. Relationships push back. The old dynamic I’m trying to release shows up in a partner or close relationship and forces a decision. Do I revert or hold my ground? This is the friction point.
Oct 19-20 — 🌔 Gibbous in Aquarius My 8th house. Deep transformation territory. What I share with others emotionally and financially comes under review. Detachment helps me see the pattern objectively for the first time without the emotional fog.
Oct 21-22 — 🌔 Gibbous continues in Pisces My 9th house. Spiritual and philosophical surrender. I’ll start to understand WHY the pattern existed. Not just what it did to me but what it was protecting me from. Compassion for the version of me that needed that comfort zone.
Oct 23-24 — 🌔 Late Gibbous in Aries My 10th house. The intention reaches the most public and visible part of my chart. Others can see the shift happening. Your identity in the world starts reflecting the internal change.
Oct 25-26 — 🌕 Full Moon in Taurus 2°45’ My 11th house. First checkpoint. Friends, community, and dreams illuminate what I’ve been building. Does this new foundation feel solid? Taurus checks the material and emotional value of the change. Is it real and grounded or still just an idea?
THE 6-MONTH CHECK-INS — FULL MOONS
(Each Full Moon illuminates my Libra 4th house intention from a different house and angle.)
Full Moon in Taurus — Oct 25-26 My 11th house. Is the new foundation I’m building supported by the right people? Are my friendships and community aligned with who I’m becoming or who I was?
Full Moon in Gemini — Nov 24 My 12th house. The subconscious check-in. What’s still hidden? What pattern am I not seeing? Dreams and intuition may reveal the deepest layer of what’s being released. This one works in the invisible.
Full Moon in Cancer — Dec 23-24 My 1st house. Identity illuminated. Who am I NOW that the old emotional patterns are being cleared? This Full Moon shows me the person emerging from the transformation. Expect to feel emotionally raw but honest.
Full Moon in Leo — Jan 22, 2027 Your 2nd house. Self-worth illuminated. Has my sense of value changed since I planted the seed? This is the check-in on whether you’ve stopped undervaluing yourself based on inherited beliefs. Am I claiming my worth or still deferring to old conditioning?
Full Moon in Virgo — Feb 20, 2027 My 3rd house. Communication and mindset illuminated. How has the way I think and talk about myself changed? The inner narrative that supported the old patterns — is it still running or has it been rewritten? This is the practical mental health check-in.
Full Moon in Libra — March 22, 2027 at 1°34’ My 4th house. Full circle. The harvest arrives in the exact house and sign where I planted the seed. The emotional foundation, the home base, the relationship with my roots — all of it is illuminated. What I’ve transformed over six months is now visible. What survived is my new ground.
THE NEW MOONS — SUPPORTING SEEDS
(Each New Moon between October and March plants a supporting seed that feeds your original intention.)
New Moon in Scorpio — Nov 8-9 My 5th house. Plant a seed around authentic creative self-expression. What creative identity wants to emerge now that the old conditioning is being cleared?
New Moon in Sagittarius — Dec 8 My 6th house. Plant a seed around new daily habits and routines that support the healthier foundation. What practices replace the old comfortable patterns?
New Moon in Capricorn — Jan 7, 2027 My 7th house. Plant a seed around the kind of partnership dynamic I want going forward. Now that the old relationship patterns are being released — what replaces them?
New Moon in Aquarius — Feb 5-6, 2027 My 8th house. Plant a seed around deeper transformation. What am I ready to fully surrender and let go of? What shared emotional or financial dynamic needs restructuring?
New Moon in Pisces — March 8, 2027 My 9th house. Plant a seed around spiritual understanding and belief. What new philosophy of life supports the person you’re becoming? This is the final seed before the harvest.
The big picture:
The 2-week cycle gives you the first feedback — did the seed take root? The subsequent New Moons plant supporting seeds in different areas that all feed the original intention. The subsequent Full Moons check in from different angles — subconscious, identity, self-worth, communication. And the Full Moon in Libra in March brings it all home to where it started.
But, damn, how would I keep up with all the intentions?
This is how it actually works in practice.
You don’t set a separate intention for every New Moon.
You set ONE main intention at the New Moon that matters most to you. That’s your anchor. Everything else orbits around it.
Using my example:
My anchor intention was planted at the New Moon in Libra in your 4th house on Pluto — release the old emotional patterns and build healthier foundations.
The subsequent New Moons aren’t separate intentions. They’re natural extensions of the same one. You don’t have to consciously set them. Life does it for you:
- New Moon in Scorpio (5th house) — you don’t sit down and say “now I’m setting a creative identity intention.” What happens is that clearing the 4th house emotional patterns naturally opens up creative expression you’d been suppressing. The New Moon just highlights that it’s happening.
- New Moon in Sagittarius (6th house) — you don’t formally plant a “new habits” seed. What happens is that as the old comfort zones dissolve you naturally start replacing them with different routines. The New Moon just illuminates what’s shifting.
- New Moon in Capricorn (7th house) — you don’t consciously set a partnership intention. What happens is that the relationship dynamics naturally start changing because YOU changed. The New Moon just marks that transition.
The practical approach:
Track one intention. For me, it is my Libra 4th house Pluto intention. That’s it.
Use the Full Moons as check-ins. Not as separate intentions. Just pause at each Full Moon and ask: how is my original intention showing up in this area of my life right now? One question. One reflection. No new seeds needed.
Let the New Moons do their work passively. The supporting seeds plant themselves because transformation in one house naturally ripples into the adjacent houses. You don’t manage them. You notice them.
Think of it like this:
You throw one stone into a pond. That’s your New Moon intention.
The ripples that spread outward. Those are the subsequent New Moons. You didn’t throw six stones. You threw one. The ripples are natural consequences of the original splash.
The Full Moons are you checking different edges of the pond to see how far the ripple has reached.
So the simplified practice is:
- One intention at the New Moon that hits you hardest personally
- Notice what shifts in other areas naturally over the following months
- Reflect at each Full Moon — how is the original intention ripening?
- Monitor each New Moon and the changes naturally happening.
- Harvest at the Full Moon in the same sign 6 months later.
