Leo in Astrology is symbolic of creative spirit, the inspiring performer, healthy pride and a generous heart

Succeeding the sign of Cancer, Leo has mastered the heart, the seat of emotions. The energy now moves to the self that instinctively feels. This is where heart meets ego.  A process giving birth to the creative spirit. What we create, we are proud of. With the Leo energy, what could the sign be more proud of than what it spawns, as contribution to the world.

We show it off, and what we show off is an extension of ourselves. 

This is who I am and “I will.”  The voice of the ego. But if swelled or if the energy only operates from the ego, and is separate from feeling or the heart, it can inflate into grandiosity, fuelled by over-blown pride and the thirst for attention to maintain a grand position. A downfall for the sign, having drifted too far from the seat of what one has mastered. The illuminated Leo understands that the petrol required need not be sourced from anything outside of itself. It lives within, in the kindle of its hearts.

Fire burns, it is bright, it is contagious, it catches fast.

When Leo is working with its heart, it naturally pulls people in. The confidence lives here, knowing this is the road to self-mastery.
