Pluto, Scorpio, Mars, and the 8th House: Stop Manifesting Shit You Don’t Want.
It’s Scorpio season. A time when some of us feel emotions that much deeper. When we thirst for truth. When we can’t help but be curious, dive into deep research about the things that keep us salivating. We also crave to retreat to ourselves, a tendency to hide what we are truly feeling. Urges can now become stronger, passions inflamed and emotions can overwhelm. Hence a retreat to self, our inner den; to find sanctuary for some, while for others, for fear the deluge of emotions might cause wreckage or drowning. In the words of The House of GreyJoy in GOT, spoken from their Drown God, “What is dead may never die.” A perfect phrase for the Scorpio energy. Thematic of cycles, transformation, death and rebirth, we must face the darkness, turmoil, fear that is our own, in order to be renewed again. To gain back our power. To be conscious of our desires.
The Magician Tarot card, along with the Death Card, is associated with the energy of Scorpio. The Scorpio is the sign of magic and manifestation. Along with Saturn’s hard work, what we focus on, what we desire can manifest itself eventually into reality. It is our will, determination, concentration, our focus of vision that create what we want. However, without making clear of our true desires and needs, our intentions can become skewed, urged by our own subconscious wounds. There is a responsibility that comes with wielding magic and manifestation.
The responsibility involves being conscious of our deepest longings. Where it is coming from, its true nature. What also comes out of the Scorpio season and all its broodiness, intensity, anxiousness, obsessions usually reflects our inner world, stirred to be awaken, stimulated to get our attention. This then can activate our Martian hunger, our Plutonian deep thirst, and the more hidden parts of our 8th house.
It is also within these qualities and areas of life we can find deep powers that wield our true desires. But first, we must be brave enough, we must employ our Martian will and strength, Scorpion insight to see what is brewing to a boil, causing fear, asking to be given focus and light.
Stop manifesting shit you don’t want!
Do your present and future self a favour and go take a journey down the depths of your 8th house. Look at your Pluto cravings and your Mars desire, plus any planets in Scorpio or whatever house cusp Scorpio sits on. If there’s a build up of residue, time to look into it. To dive deep and see what is clogged in the past. What is asking to be released, taking up space, spoiling fertile grounds. The more removed we become from these areas of life, the more we become disempowered, for it controls us. Ignoring what shakes and rumbles within diverts us from our true needs, and what can ultimately satisfy.
Although there are other elements in your birth chart that suggest and link to attachments, clogging new energy, looking at parts of the chart mentioned, can give a pretty accurate picture of where life can create the most intensity, where there is a need for a cycle of flow and where you can gain self-empowerment. Look at where Pluto sits in your birth chart. It’s aspects. It can suggests where you seek truth, where you likely can’t tolerate bullshit. The sign is an indicator to how you can process the build-up and drain efficiently. It is your regenerative power. Mars, another energizer power, shows what you hunger and fight for, and focus on. The eight house is where your secrets are buried, the kind of intimacy you crave and create. The sign at the cusp or planets in the 8th house can show psychological process. If you have planets in Scorpio, these are the areas of life where you can have laser focus, drive, deep intuitive powers.
Keywords:
Scorpio – Inner depth, laser focus, drive, desire, intention.
Pluto – Power, regeneration, truth,
Mars – Focus, will, determination, love of self
8th house – Secrets, depth, intimacy, psychological power, karma, ancestors
When you string them together, the qualities of each element are interchangeable. They are all descriptive of intensity, power, cycles and transformation.
A strong Scorpio energy within the birth chart gives the native an intense nature, which comes from having emotional depth, a gift of penetration and being equipped with bullshit radar. Consequently, both a burden and a resource. Challenged through out life, via crisis and intense experiences, with many cycles and transformation, it’s an unsettling energy which urges a constant health check to areas affected. An extracting process, developed and experienced for sake of evolution. It is symbolic of the energy’s transformation from the Scorpion to soar to the heights of the Eagle, then ultimately breathe the eternal fire of the Phoenix. It’s also the Universe’s way to restore balance. The most powerful sign is also known to be a karmic sign. Meaning, all that it does, all action leads to consequence(Mars) and the 8th house. The powerful energy known to wield magic, manifest desires into reality are reminded of cause and effect, and the importance of its cyclical nature.
The Lower Frequency of Each Element:
Scorpio – Brooding, resentful, grudges, obsession, jealousy, envy.
Pluto – Manipulation, secrets, destruction, oppression, suppression, control
Mars – Over-aggression, selfishness, anger, war
8th house – Lechery, resentment, shadows, secrets
“No. He will not be trained. He’s too old.” – Mace Windu_
_
“Clouded, this boy’s future is.” – Master Yoda
“Much fear I sense in you, young Skywalker.” – Master Yoda
The character Anakin Skywalker and his journey to the dark side, in the film Star Wars, is a perfect example. Trained to be a Jedi, his fate is directed by his past and the deep wounds left on him by the death of his mother. Wounds that cause intense emotion, fear, which imprison and follow him through his journey. With his desires twisted and coiled in hurt and anger, he is vulnerable to act on his unprocessed past. Though his character is constantly plagued by light and dark, his fear/shadows become more powerful than the truth, his inner truth.
True power is about knowing all of your sides, the darkest, the dirtiest along with the light that is inside of you. The faster you deal with your hang-ups, the faster you manifest what you truly and deeply desire. Thus, being satisfied.
Without that truth, he gives his powers away to his fears and to the manipulation of the Emperor, who stokes his vulnerability, which eventually leads Anakin to become Darth Vader. A path that has isolated him from everyone he loves and created eventual self-destruction(Pluto). (On a side note: We can take it further to the ancestral karma that is passed on to his grandson Kylo Ren. He is the victim to Vader’s decisions, which relates to his 8th house.) As Vader, he is controlled by mired desires, constantly hungry for power, control and destruction. What we cannot control, controls us or stimulates our urge for unhealthy control outside of ourselves.
We see this in other characters. Plagued by the betrayal of a past lover, we see this in the character Maleficent and her control of Sleeping Beauty. Or the high priestess in the story of Dune, who have way too much power, it has turned into manipulation. Very strong and intense characters. You feel their respective insides rumbling and quaking. This is Pluto at its worst!
Continually burying it, removes one from an authentic part of self. It becomes unknown, hidden from self, hiding the deep power that is attached to it. Looking in, surrendering is the start of the journey to find our authentic selves and desires.
The truth is your ally!
Being in full awareness of self — of your physical body, mind, spirit and soul desires, all parts work holistically, enabling you to manifest genuine desires and needs. Via synergistic approach, you are wielding your reality on a conscious level, curated by your present being. You are in touch with your present reality, you are also aware of the things that are worth working for, the things that ground, further informs desires. Your inside and outside realties become unison to help wield the magic that is within you, that is around you, free form the load of the past and its repercussions.
“With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility” ~ Stan Lee
A force to be reckon with, Scorpio is an energy of riches and power. With the proper use of intuitive, penetrative power, the energy is resourceful, knows where to focus will and aggression and can be continually pumped in vital force of truth, the seed which cultivates deep satisfying results. Wherever Scorpio, Pluto, Mars activates your life is where you will find inner most desires, where you can wield the powers within, where manifestation is at your disposal.
However, “with great power comes great responsibility.” Another phrase suited for the intense and potent energy. This time referring to its higher energetic vibes. A quote borrowed from the story of Spiderman. It was told to Peter Parker by his Uncle Ben right before his death, which indirectly was caused by Peter’s inaction. He didn’t stop a crime when he easily could have, and consequently, a ripple effect of circumstances lead to his Uncles’ death.
Karma at its best. We must understand our actions or inactions have consequences. That our powers, what we manifest comes with responsibilities.
