Astrology is as complex as us humans. We are not one sign; we are all the signs. Different parts of our personality can be described by the qualities of the planets. The point is to integrate aspects of ourselves into a unifying whole. I will describe the Scorpio woman to understand how the Scorpio energy operates and is expressed through the female lens.
No matter what planet the person has in Scorpio, its intensity will be determined by that planet and the overall health of the chart. Thus, also determining the frequency of higher or lower expression. This post will be a general overview, encompassing themes of Scorpio emotions, affection, desires and sexual nature.
When dating a Scorpio, you should expect a level of intense bonding. This may not be so apparent at first, but if you pay close attention, their fiery, passionate nature oozes out of them. Whether it’s their appearance, their goals or how they communicate, you are bound to feel their feverish existence. However, dating a Scorpio woman is different from dating a Scorpio man. Since females have generally been granted passage to show their emotions freely, there is a general ease and confidence in expressing the intensely feeling sign of Scorpio.
Unlike the free-flowing emotions of a Pisces or an emotionally pushy Cancer, Scorpios tend to hide their feelings. However, knowing and expressing their inner world, there is a likelier chance the Scorpio woman will put themselves out there more frequently than the Scorpio man.
The energy itself is considered the truth serum within the zodiac signs. There is honesty, a rawness to the Scorpio emotions. A kind of truth the female counterpart tends to reveal quicker. When dating, generally, the intention is to mate for this all-or-nothing sign. They either give you all of them or nothing at all. It’s pretty black and white, especially for those they love. Hence, the intensity.
Scorpio, like the Libra and Sagittarius, are relationship signs. Libra sees the perfect mate through a lighter, logical and balanced view. Sagittarius wants to explore and merge with the world, while Scorpio looks to merge exclusively on soul level. The connection is a surrendering of the self. Merging comes with the consequence of losing their individuality. Although profoundly gratifying, they become selective, careful about with whom they partner. For it is emotional entanglement for life in their eyes.
Getting to know your Scorpio girl is like a peeling process; that core may take years if at all to reach, for they too are on the journey of self-awareness. This is different from any other sign, in that it is a discovery, release and acceptance of their shadow side. Hence the intensity. If the Rising sign is in Scorpio, there is a great wall to scale as mammoth as China. Higher vibrating energy will be willing to guide you towards the entrance, the ones behind darker shades are on the defence and may never let you through.
If you’ve passed their Rising or if the sign at the cusp is in a socially open energy— then what you will encounter next is their Sun personality. A Sun in Scorpio compares to the Queen of Cups when developing on the right path. Emotions are levelled and free-flowing. This is the sign that hunts for deep, meaningful purpose. A destiny that is full of profound transformations throughout their life’s journey.
As with any planet under the expression of Scorpio, changes are inevitable. This can be excellent for relationship growth or set them down unhealthy roads.
Venus and Moon
Because the Moon and Venus in an individual chart express the feminine nature, the two planets should be on your radar when getting to know your Scorpio mate. Being the nurturing side, how they love and want to be loved, the expression of each planet shows her unique inner and outer beauty. The Moon and Venus in Scorpio want to bond wholeheartedly.
Scorpio is the sign that will do the dirty work to get to the truth of the matter and build from there. The healthy Scorpio energy will embrace you for who you are. There is safety(Moon) in knowing someone on that level. However, our Moon symbolizes our past patterns, our subconscious drives. If these parts are unprocessed, require healing, her blindspots can keep her emotionally stunted. The fuel she runs on can cause clogs from expressing authentic and healthy love. The build-up can cause unsavoury qualities, including control issues, jealousy, possessiveness, and manipulation. All problems surface in the 8th house of past trauma and karma.
Mars
The stereotype that all Scorpios are sexually charged is true to some degree. Other elements in her chart can temper her sexual currents. Her natal Mars tells you her level of aggression in bed, as well as in the world. Whether she sits back or pursues you in fervour, strategy is involved. Vital Scorpio energy is always at the helm. Even with a hint, you can be certain the energy has a seat in counsel to help the personality express itself. Mars in a cardinal sign will add to that dominance. A mutable Mars is less assertive and can give way to your opinion. But she will charge forth with her opinions and desires selfishly in the fixed signs.
8th House and Planets
They will either sacrifice everything for you, or YOU will be the sacrifice.
The 8th is the house Scorpio rules —any planets here accentuate the energy. This area of life rules style of intimacy and shared resources. How she attracts other forms of income. But the magic–and sometimes terror– is the deep strata discovered in the 8th. Think of this area as a den to her recent past and past lives. It is the darkest place in the chart, the deep recess of her mind. What lives here depends on her psychological state of health.
On the extreme end, if she has yet to heal, you may encounter the black widow and her deadly web, ensnaring you to become one of her captives. Manipulative games are played. You may experience a metaphorical death in the process or escape with deep wounds yourself. (They say that the black widow’s venom is 15x stronger than a snake-yikes! )
Like the Marvel character with the same name, the evolved Scorpio will fight for justice, loyally —sometimes to the death —defend you. The 8th house can be webbed in the shadows of her past or sparkling in buried treasures she has unearthed and transformed into her empowered self.
The Scorpio energy is analogous to the Magician Tarot Card. With great powers, they can wield their desires to reality. Some have attained the wisdom and the great responsibility of their capabilities. Others have yet to grow the eagles’ wings of objectivity, continually expressing manipulative, selfish qualities. No matter what stage of evolution your person is in, consider the high Scorpio intensity will always emanate. I call it the risk and reward sign. There are profound risks involved, but investing in this sign can give you even greater rewards. That is if you’re lucky enough to catch the evolved eye of the Scorpio woman.
