Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn July 16 2019

A Full Moon is about shedding skin, lighting up a certain area of life to give awareness, to let the OLD GO and the NEW IN. With a Lunar Eclipse in the mix, intensity rises as our lives get shaken up, for some it’s a gradual process, for others an instant change.

An Eclipse that happens in the sign of Capricorn is about questioning the work we do, what we have built and plans we’ve made so far. This can come in the form of partnerships, our ways of thinking, our career, etc…depending on where the eclipse falls in our chart.

The Lunar Eclipse—which is working with the themes of the last Solar eclipse—will activate an opposition involving the Sun, Venus & the North Node in Cancer between another set of powerful energy, including Pluto & the South Node in Capricorn.

The Cancer and Capricorn axis is about our emotional selves, private life vs. our exterior world, or outside status.

Our personal lives, who we are now, our current goals, what gives us satisfaction will be in a tug of war with the past, old traumas, things we have forgotten about or neglected—that may have been slowly surfacing since the beginning of the year, may still be holding us back, causing emotional crisis, power struggles, subconscious discomfort.  The Moon’s opposition to Pluto is a chance for transformational breakthroughs or transcending the past and toxins into awareness & healthier modes of dealing.

An eclipse generally eclipses things out of our lives, the cosmos way to keep us moving, evolving,  helping to release what no longer serves us, making room for what will.
