Mercury also happens to be combust in her 8th house of dark and taboo things, and is part of a stellium of energy which includes her Sun, her Mars, all of which are in Capricorn. He was wealthy, influential, resourceful and who built himself up after he had undergone disgrace, crisis and trauma from the 2nd World War.

The potent combination suggests the father-daughter, bonded relationship, and Robert’s influence over Ghislaine. In astrology, Mars is considered the right-hand man, the solider to the Sun. There’s a rapport between the two energies. She was born in a wealthy family whose father doted on her. She is the youngest of nine and was said to be favoured out of the bunch. Under the wing and shadow of her father she led an her extravagant life, full of glittering social interactions within British circles. Lilith in Virgo in the 5th house:

However, it is the influence of Lilith that has likely caged her in her own shadows. It sits in the 5th house of play and children and is in the deeply critical sign of Virgo, conjunct Pluto. Virgo energy functions best in the order of things, in that it operates best when things, people and situations are in their proper place. Being in the 5th house of Leo and the Sun, no doubt, and Mercury ruled, her Lilith Virgo has likely followed suit/complements her dark 8th house, Capricorn energy.

It is obvious in Ghislaine that her own Lilith is hidden. Her wild side–her respect and honour of the feminine strength and beauty–is distorted and under patriarchal governing. She has demonized the feminine aspect of herself and in others, in young girls(children) by giving them as objects, with no worth, to men of influence and stature. Virgo also symbolizes being in service to others, in which she plays out by facilitating, being of service to Epstein’s sexual desires.

With a caged Lilith, Ghislaine has likely adopted her father’s tyrannical views, and shady characteristics through her relationships both with men and women. Her wild nature, has been shut down, silenced by her own distorted views of power dynamic. Pluto helps facilitate that in the 5th house. She had given into “the request”, to belong, in her case, to maintain the riches, the power of wealth, she had known and been bred for.  The energy between Lilith and Pluto is a strong interchange of manipulation that plays out in her romantic life, what she finds fun and with how she sees children.

Being a Gemini Ascendent, there are likely multiple sides to Ghislaine, but the major two at the helm maintained her survival and distorted deep desires. One is adept at socializing, implementing her innate charm with others, having a keen sense to show a responsible and classy face in public. Yet, with Pluto strongly connected to her low vibing chart ruler, most of her drives likely and ultimately relate to her powerful, cunning and resourceful late father.  An energy she seems to be emulating in her own dark, shadowed ways.
