Mercury in Scorpio is the sleuth energy, detecting things on a micro level, penetrating beyond what the eye can see. Which can be ideal for some during its retro phase for the next three weeks, as truths can be revealed & passion rediscovered. Whether this has to do with relationships, work or abstract ideas & thoughts, it is an opportunity to reflect on, revise & improve an area of life on a deep level, to truly hone in on what matters, to root any changes made in depth & desire.
Do keep conscious of the conflicts that may occur during Merc’s retro transit, which will involve themes of internal & external values, inner & material wealth, letting go & holding on, sharing and hoarding. The energies opposing the retrograde transit can come from different areas of life or parts of yourself. On the 20th (Taurus Uranus), it can be deeply rooted ideas & patterns going against new sets of values. The intensity can rise around the 27th(opposing Taurus Lilith) as individual desires vs. another’s needs, internal vs. exterior truth can come into conflict.
Being of fixed nature(Scorpio vs. Taurus), the tense energy can cause stubbornness & stagnation. However, coming from the same spectrum of desires & needs, finding common ground can be about evaluating raw passion & deep desires that equate to revolutionary & authentic growth. It will also be about harnessing intuitive power to trust that where you land might just be better than you ever imagined.
