Transit Mars In Libra Oct 4 – Nov 19 2019

Mars has been sitting it out for the last few days, giving the helm of action to the more graceful and tactful side of us.

The warrior planet is the part of us that takes force. It is our will & determination, how we defend ourselves. Our front of the lines reaction. It is also what we desire, how we individuate ourselves & express our selfish needs.

The energy of Libra is quite the opposite. Considers others, a part of us that thinks before it acts to weigh out options on both sides. Its first response is to keep the peace.

In a way Mars is caged in Libra. It is what astrologers call to be in its Fall. The shining qualities of Mars can lack lustre, weaken in strength.

In the next several weeks, we can act passive aggressively, action can be thwarted by over thinking. Lids steaming before we eventually blow. We can also become indecisive or prone to procrastination. However, riding on its higher frequency, we see Mars in Libra as Venus in armour. The fierce planet’s aggression is tempered, softened, allowing us to step back and proceed into non-reactionary mode.

As an energy similar to Athena, the goddess of war, the fierce warrior still burns in us, instead the fight may be for justice & peace & the use of strategy & discipline leads towards glorious feats, with the number of casualties decreased. She is also known to be compassionate & nurturing, while the owl on her shoulder symbolizes her wisdom, an energy we can activate to fly us even higher, well into the next month.
